Floor lamps can be an important and beautiful contribution to any living room (or bedroom) design plan. To be functional for their intended purpose they are usually placed a corner seating area, or between chairs in a conversation area, or to the side of chair or sofa.

A floor lamp doesn’t need a table and takes up a relatively small amount of floor space, so it offers a more streamlined look in a room. If your room feels tight or has too many tables and lamps, try using a floor lamp!
